Tips to Crack CLAT Exam on the First Attempt

CLAT exam is a gateway to LLB or LLM from top national law universities in India. Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a non-statutory body created under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the convenience of the students seeking admission to various National Law Universities in the country. An entrance test is conducted to provide a list of candidates on the basis of ‘merit-cum-preference’ to each University for admission to their UG/PG programmes, as per the eligibility, reservation and other criteria laid down under the respective statutes of the participating Universities.
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), is an all India entrance examination, conducted on rotation by 17 National Law Universities (NLUs) for admissions to their Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate degree programmes.

Tips to Crack CLAT Exam on the First Attempt

1. Top priority to GK sections : Most of the CLAT toppers suggested for giving priority to GK sections. You should give stress on GK part of exam and try to solve it first or make good grab over GK

2. Solve Mock Tests : CLAT toppers suggested for solving mock test papers. Solving mock test papers build confidence and speed. To solve as many mock tests papers you should download mock test papers from the internet.

3. Strategy for Time Management :Make a strategy that how you are going to save your time in the exam. Time management is crucial in any competitive exams. CLAT exam consists of 200 questions and you have 2 hours for choosing right answers. There are 5 sections in CLAT exam in which maths sections take maximum time. You need to make a strategy so that you can save time for revision.

4. Solve Previous Years Question Papers : You should solve previous years question papers. Take last 10 years question papers and solve it.You will find some questions which will add more ideas about exam paper.

5. Attention on Maths, English Grammar and Current Affairs : Yes, maths, English grammar, and current affairs are important sections of CLAT exam. It takes time and deep knowledge. This section also gives maximum negative marking. So, give attention to this sections

6. Read Newspapers Daily : Reading newspapers daily add new English words, current affairs, and communication skills. Every competitive exam toppers suggest reading newspapers on regular basis.
